DPBS buffer er en saline opløsning anvendt at vedligeholde celler i vitro. Det er commonly anvendt during celle passaging at remove trypsin inhibitors ved washing, eller during celle counting when fortynding er nødvendige. DPBS er også anvendt som en fortynding buffer til reagenser og/eller samples i protein og cellular analysis assays (Western blot, immunocytochemistry, ELISA, etc.).
This reference er koncentreret 10X og har neither calcium nor magnesium ions i dets Sammensætning so det doesn’t inhibit den aktivitet af den trypsin.
