Originally developed to support liver tumor cells, McCoy's 5A Medium allows the culture of primary cells from a wide range of tissues (bone marrow, skin, kidney, lung, rat embryos …). Furthermore, it is also an excellent medium for the growth of a broad range of human and rat normal or transformed cell lines. The medium contains L-Glutamine. This medium exists with or without Sodium Bicarbonate.
