Alpha-MEM medium (aMEM) er en modifikation af Minimum Essentielle Medium (MEM) at indeholder non-essential amino syrer, natrium pyruvat, thioctic acid, vitamin B12, biotin, og ascorbic acid.
Alpha-MEM medium kan anvendes med en variety af suspension og adherent pattedyrs celler, herunder keratinocytes, primary rat astrocytes, og human melanoma celler. Dette medium er often anvendes til den mesenchymal stem celler kultur.
