FreeAdd 1X is a chemically defined substitute for animal serum. It provides the elements and nutrients necessary for the proliferation and maintenance of cellular characteristics.
FreeAdd replaces most supplements such as fetal bovine serum to replicate the normal extracellular environment, making your culture experience predictable, safe and future-proof.
Because it is fully defined, there is no need to do batch selection tests. FreeAdd is suitable for use with most animal cell types, cell line or primary, adherent or suspension cells.
