Ham’s F12 w/ L-Glutamine w/o Sodium Bicarbonate

Ham’s F12 is the medium of choice for supporting the growth of cells of rodent origin, particularly rabbit and rat and has proved to be an excellent cloning medium for the culture of myeloma and hybrid cells. Ham’s F12 medium is frequently used with dialysed serum, hormones, selenium and other supplements.

Because Ham’s F12 medium does not contain protein and growth factor, it is recommanded serum supplementation depending the cell type and application.

Its formulation contains no sodium bicarbonate
